Motorist refuses to give way to emergency vehicle

A video uploaded by a facebook user Markjay Presnede Pulumbarit showing a motorist who refused to give way to the emergency vehicle spread online.

The emergency vehicle was at the back of the car trying to overtake the driver but the motorist snubbed the vehicle responding to a fire emergency.

Netizens vehemently shared their insights and reactions toward the incident on the video after being shared by another facebook user Mike Ofiana.

“Bakit walang kumuha ng plate number ng kotse para ma-apprehend ang driver? Multa at suspension ng lisensya ang dapat mangyari. Why there’s no one confiscate the plate number of the car to apprehend the driver? Penalty and suspension of license should be made” imparted Jacinto Chong.

“Bingi yata itong driver na ito, nakakuha ng lisensya sa fixer. The driver is deaf, he got his license to a fixer” commented Abundio Gaban.

On the other hand a netizen expressed his/her sympathy to the motorist who failed to understand a road courtesy rule.

“Give him/her a chance to explain his/her side. If it is acceptable then let’s give him a second chance,” reacted Jhonfer Lawagan.

The video has obtained more than 260 thousand views, 2 thousand shares, 1 thousand reactions and comments after it was uploaded and shared by netizens.
